Hi my name is Jessica Christiansen and with
my mom ( Cristy Christiansen ) we have
been showing Pomeranians for over four
years.  We got our first Pomeranian "Ashes"
in 2000.  She grew to be 9 pounds and had a
fiery personality.  The day after we got her
we got our second Pomeranian "Dakota".
You know what they say Poms are like a bag
of chips you can't just have one.  Well a
couple months later my brother Chris wanted
his own Pomeranian so we got him a little
black girl named "Tiffany".  Less than a year
later we got our fourth Pomeranian named
"Rascal".  He's my little shadow and is in love
with the game fetch.  Then in 2001 we
stumbled upon Charlene and Gregg Waters,
and in 2002 we got our first show
Pomeranian from her.  Her name was
"Trinket" and we finished her in 2004.  She
truely was heaven sent.  By 2004 we had a
good little kennel started up with our
Pomeranians.  It contained some real nice
oranges, blacks, and a black & tan named
"Tori" (she had one point and died at about 7
months).  Then one fateful day everything
changed.  We were driving home from the
Eagle, Colorado show in July, 2004 when
our propaine tank exploded.  We barely got
out of the accident with our lifes, and all eight
dogs ( Tori, Rosie, Sable, Tiffany, Sawyer,
Cricket, Trinket who was pregnant, and
Harmony) were dead before we could even
get out.  We lost all of our show dogs. My
mother, sister, and I were life flighted to the
intensive care unit at the U of U hospital in
Salt Lake, Utah.  My sister was there for over
a week, and my mom was there for over a
couple weeks.  I was in the intensive care
burn unit for over a full month.  After that I
was moved to my Aunt Jana's house (she
live's less than 3 minutes away from the
hospital).  For the next couple months I had
to go to the hospital every day for check ups
and physical therapy.  It was over a year
before I could stop my annual check ups with
the doctors.
We weren't just about to let this accident
stop us from doing what we do though.  Pati
Danielson a really good friend of ours sold
us a couple Pomeranians to help get us back
on track.  So in October 2004 we attempted
our first show back into the dog world.  I
showed my new six month old puppy Lil' Bee.
Sadly it wasn't as great experience as we
had hoped it would be.  I really missed my
old dogs and this show reminded me of
them, as many other shows to come would.
Now I am pleased to say we are starting to
get back to where we were before the
accident.  We finished our first bred-by
champion Jade in July of 2006 ( A special
thanks to co-breeder Pati Danielson of
Patricia Pomeranians).  Now we are starting
a new adventure with breeding and showing
Parti Pomeranians!  Everything is going
good.
